Privacy Policy

This policy tells you what we collect when you enquire, what we do with it, how we store it, and the few situations where we pass it on. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What We Collect From You

We collect what you send us through the enquiry form or tell us on the phone. That is usually your name, your phone number, your suburb, the service you are asking about, and whatever you tell us about the property or the fault.

Our server logs may record your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site.

What We Do With It

We use what you tell us to answer you, to price and schedule the work, to attend your property, and to certify and invoice the job once we have finished it. We do not use it for anything else.

Once we complete a job we keep the records we are required to keep for certification, warranty and tax purposes.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We disclose it in four situations only: to a subcontractor or accredited service provider we engage to carry out part of your work, including where your enquiry needs Level 2 accreditation and we refer that part on; to Ausgrid or Building Commission NSW where certifying your job or connecting your supply requires it; to the providers who host this site and handle our communications; and where the law requires us to.

How We Store It

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so you send it to us on that understanding.

Getting Your Information Corrected

Ring us on (02) 4072 8575 and you can ask us for the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. We respond within a reasonable period, and if we decline a request we tell you why.

If You Want To Complain

Raise it with us directly on the details below and we will deal with it. If we do not resolve it to your satisfaction, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
